The commitment of universities has become essential to achieve an evolution of society towards development that is sustainable, encompassing the economic, social and environmental spheres.

From Foundation for Justice We are committed to Higher Education that is at the service of the most vulnerable and vulnerable people. We dedicate our efforts to supporting the hard work that Valencian public universities are doing to support education aligned with the 2030 Agenda.

That is why, as part of the project financed by the Department of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality of the GVA: “Increasing citizen participation in achieving the SDGs through Appropriation of the 2030 Agenda”, focused on the university community, we have just published a manual titled: “Universities committed to the 2030 Agenda. Good practices manual” .
This is written in order to show some initiatives linked to these principles, and specifically with those that mainstream the Sustainable Development Goals, already executed within the framework of the University.

To achieve this, the voices of people linked to Valencian public universities have been directly counted on, from the undergraduate, master's and doctoral students themselves, to the teaching staff, research staff and administrative staff. In this way, and without the intention of combining all the work that is being done, this manual tries to show some of the good practices carried out within the university environment of Jaume I University, the University of València, and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
