Program Description
The project starts from a central problem: the limited participation and empowerment of indigenous youth in the Chaco in public policies that affect their development. This reality is conditioned by a lack of human rights education, weak channels for institutional dialogue, the exclusion of young women, and the low sustainability of existing youth spaces. As a result, communities lose their capacity for collective action, diverse perspectives, and effectiveness in responding to their own needs, perpetuating inequalities and processes of marginalization.
In response, the intervention proposes three complementary outcomes. The first strengthens youth capabilities in active citizenship, rights and advocacy, incorporating communication and digital tools. The second is aimed at the local public institutions, promoting awareness-raising, training, and formal engagement with young people. The third focuses on the sociocultural and communicative dimension, key to reversing demobilization and regaining youth leadership in the transformation of their territories.
