This year we present our honorary Peace and Justice Award to Pavel Ilyich Talankin (Karabash, 1991). Teacher, videographer, and documentary filmmaker. Winner of the Oscar and BAFTA for Best Documentary for portraying war propaganda in Russian classrooms. Currently in exile and persecuted by Putin's government for his commitment to children's rights.

Coordinator of the Film Classroom at the University of Valencia in its beginnings and Head of Programming at the Film Library of the Valencian Government From 1989 until his retirement in 2025, he combined his institutional work with teaching as a professor of film genres at the Chair of Cinema at the University of Valladolid and at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
He is a member of the magazine's editorial board Caiman Film Notebooks, coordinator of various collective editions and author of books such as Film noir, genre film (1985) and Paris, Texas (2010), co-written with Antonio Santamarina.
A graduate in Information Sciences, with a DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma) in Audiovisual Communication, and a member of the Spanish Film Academy, the Television Academy, and ACE Leadership. As CEO and producer at TV ON Producciones and Admirable Films, has an extensive track record in the audiovisual sector.
He has produced feature-length fiction films (Brava, Off-Season) and documentary projects (Land Without Evil, ValentesSince 2017, he has also excelled in the production and direction of animated series such as The Diary of Bita and Cora o Sex Symbols, and short films like Selection Process, nominated for the Goya Award in 2022. He has extensive experience as an international jury member in competitions both within and outside of Spain.
Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Seville (with studies at the Université Paris VIII) and co-director of the Valladolid International Film Festival (Seminci), a competition in which she previously served as general coordinator.
She has a solid track record in cultural management and technical direction of festivals, having been general coordinator of the Seville European Film Festival (2013-2022). During this period, she coordinated the organization of the European Film Awards 2018. Specializing in the development of education, public and industry areas, she is a regular member of public film funding evaluation committees and in 2019 was invited by the French Ministry of Culture to its professional program Cultural Stays.
Producer, cultural manager, and expert in the development of audiovisual projects. With a Master's degree in Audiovisual Production Management from the University of Valencia, she has over thirty years of experience in the sector. She has been president of the Valencian Academy of Audiovisual (2022-2026) and coordinator of the EDAV screenwriters association.
Throughout her career, she has worked in production and planning at RTVV, coordinated film festivals, and organized international events for the FIA. She regularly collaborates with institutions, leading workshops on pitch (as for the IVC) and was the Commissioner of the Berlanga Year and the Goya Awards of the Valencia City Council (2021-2022).
Katya Kize is an assistant director, known for her participation in the Oscar-winning documentary film, Mr. Nobody Against Putin (2025).
Cultural manager and film programmer. A graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló, he has developed a distinguished career in the direction of leading festivals. He was Director of the Valencia International Film Festival Cinema Jove (2017-2025) and director of the La Cabina Medium-Length Film Festival, promoting both spaces as key platforms for international cinema and new talents.
Screenwriter, teacher and National Comic Award 2019 by The 3rd. A graduate in Fine Arts, he is the co-author, along with Cristina Durán, of graphic novels of great social relevance such as One possibility, When you don't know what to say o Maria the Javelin, and the young adult trilogy Anna Dédalus Detective. A graduate in Information Sciences and with a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, and Event Management from the Complutense University of Madrid, she specializes in production management, project development, and comprehensive team management.
Throughout his career he has worked for regional television stations and independent production companies (such as Prisa, Valencia Teve or RTVV, where he was head of news productionIn 2009 he founded the production company Polu Popum and, since 2016, has worked as Production Director at Silence Production, where she manages multiple fiction and documentary projects in development and pre-production stages. She is also a contributor and author for the RTVE program HAZ.
Journalist, screenwriter, and cultural manager. Currently works as a journalist and screenwriter at Neighborhood Productions, forming part of the scriptwriting team for reference formats such as Évole's thing y Saved (The Sixth).

Miguel Valle is a screenwriter, director, and audiovisual producer, and the founder of The Milk. His work combines social storytelling, an auteur's sensibility, and a commercial focus, moving between thrillers, dramas, and genre fiction. He has participated with his projects in international markets and workshops such as Iberseries & Platino Industria and Go to Content Americas. His short film Cosmo received the Best Screenplay award at Director Talents London and was a finalist in The Golden Script Competition. The Milk is currently developing several series and feature film projects.
