Foundation for Justice has signed his commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace by joining the Diversity Charter of the Diversity Foundation, the largest business movement in Europe in favor of diversity and inclusion in work environments.
The Diversity Charter is a manifesto that It promotes 10 European principles that reflect the commitment of companies and institutions to equal opportunities in the world of work. Whether in terms of gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or any other individual, social or cultural condition, the organizations that have signed this movement recognize and value diversity as a fundamental asset for business success and sustainability.
José María Tomás y Tio, president of the Foundation for Justice, is clear on this: “Choosing DIVERSITY means continuing to commit to JUSTICE, "The only way to work for PEACE and DIGNITY for all people in any environment where they choose to be."”
The ten principles of the Diversity Charter are:
- Raising awareness about equality and respect for diversity as company values.
- Advance staff diversity by integrating diverse profiles.
- Promote inclusion and avoid any form of discrimination in the workplace.
- Consider diversity in all people management policies.
- Promote work-life balance and shared responsibility in working hours.
- Recognize customer diversity as a source of innovation.
- Communicate the commitment to diversity to all staff.
- Extend the commitment to supplier companies.
- Transfer the commitment to third-party entities.
- Disseminate diversity and inclusion policies and the results obtained.
Fundación Diversidad promotes the Diversity Charter in Spain with the support of the European Commission and the national charters of each of the countries of the European Union, thus promoting the adoption of inclusive practices in the workplace. More than 1,600 organizations have signed this commitment in Spain and 17,500 in the European Union.
