The project of Foundation for Justice aims to support the work that Valencian public universities are doing to support education aligned with the 2030 Agenda and make the Sustainable Development Goals a reality. Currently, it brings together 14 groups and associations that have signed the commitment for its fulfillment.

'This step has been very important for Fundación por la Justicia since Valencian public universities must be committed to the vision, spirit and implementation of the Agenda, with the will to turn the SDGs into a reality, acting hand in hand with its civil society, a multitude of entities, companies and institutions and citizens in general' say the Fundación por la Justicia.

In this way, these entities sign the agreement that commits them to supporting any initiative aimed at achieving the SDGs, arising from and for the Valencian universities, and in particular goal 4.7 by which in 2030, the 100% of the students in Spain acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to promote sustainable development, among other things through education for sustainable development and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, the promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and the appreciation of cultural diversity and the contribution of culture to sustainable development, among other means.

The “ColectivODS” Conference, held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia on February 23, Its objective was the Exchange of Experiences of University Social Action in the Valencian Community. A meeting between the different agents of change linked to the University, with the aim of creating synergies and alliances to achieve a university committed to the promotion and defense of Human Rights.

So much so, among the signatory attendees are the cooperative Enpeu Coop. V, the associations AVEMUS – Valencian Association of Muslim Students, El Kambio, and the groups Diversa UPV, MOU-TE, Prunus Lab.
