  • Volunteering for the Escoleta Matinal in the Nazaret neighbourhood of Valencia
The task consists of participating as a volunteer monitor in the Morning School Project of the Fundación por la Justicia, which takes place from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the Colegio Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, in the Nazaret neighbourhood. We prepare breakfast for 30 children from poor or dysfunctional families, and then we dedicate between 30 and 45 minutes to sports activities in order to improve the physical and mental health of the children and to promote a respectful and harmonious environment inside and outside the school. We need adults (over 18 years of age) with training and/or experience in educational, art-related, recreational and/or sports activities related to children. The main thing is that you like working with children, so patience, understanding, positive initiative and a desire to play are essential.

  • Volunteering for Abriendo Senderos with people with reduced mobility
The main voluntary action of Abriendo Senderos is to provide accompaniment on nature outings that promote inclusive tourism. People with reduced mobility and blind people will participate, together with unaccompanied minors who will be trained to lead the outings. We need people of legal age, who like nature and have an interest, studies and/or experience in assisting people with different abilities. The tasks are diverse, depending on the interests of the person, they can provide support in the training sessions, be in charge of taking photographs of the outings and even participate in the logistics required for the activities.

  • Volunteering for Humans Fest
Volunteering at Humans Fest is an opportunity to develop your skills in organising a cultural and activist event with international projection. Here you will be able to meet activists and filmmakers, watch films, practice a foreign language by translating for guests from other international festivals, improve your communication skills, and expand your knowledge of human rights as part of a team of high human and professional quality. Festival volunteering has a flexible schedule that can be combined with studies or part-time work.

  • Volunteering for “Access to Justice for Ukraine”

Access to Justice for Ukraine is an initiative of the Justice Foundation that aims to identify the victims of war crimes in Ukraine and facilitate reparation for their damages, through the criminal process opened by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court or of the systems provided by international or national organizations.

Volunteering is therefore focused on taking stories and interpreting the testimony of the victims. To this end, Fundación por la Justicia provides initial training, so that interviews can be carried out following all established protocols, protecting the Human Rights of the victims.

The initiative is carried out in the offices of the Illustrious Bar Association of Valencia (ICAV) and the Immigration Assistance Center (CAI) of the Valencia City Council, and has the collaboration of different entities, both public and private. Collaboration can occur on different days of the week, with flexible schedules.
