One of the civil society institutions that detected the need to reflect and act on the issue of corruption has been the Foundation for Justice who, at a meeting of its Board of Trustees in November 2014, approved promoting a manifesto called “Public commitment against corruption”. This document contained 150 anti-corruption measures grouped into 17 thematic blocks and collected in his day, the commitment of seven political parties with parliamentary representation at the state level, as well as more than forty entities and numerous individuals from civil society to fight corruption in our country.
More than two years have passed since the signing of the “State Pact against Corruption and for Civic Regeneration”, interest is now focused on check how far the signatories have come in fulfilling their commitments. For this purpose it has been decided to launch a Autonomous Observatory against corruption that allows us to supervise and carry out monitoring, at the regional and local level, of the measures contained in said Pact, the results of which we hope to present in December 2018.
