Within the framework of the project “Voices from exile. Consequences of the conflict in Colombia for human rights activists”, Funded by the First Vice Presidency and Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing of the Valencian Government, a Institutional Declaration in collaboration with the Colombian Commission of Jurists (CCJ). This declaration seeks to highlight and condemn the violation of the human rights of Colombian social leaders who, faced with threats and attacks, have been forced into exile in the Valencian Community.

The Institutional Declaration on the State of Human Rights Defense aims to express support for human rights defenders who suffer persecution and repression in Colombia and who were forced into exile in the Valencian Community, condemning all threats, unjustified intimidation, and violations of fundamental rights related to life, integrity, liberty, work, and the right to live in peace and in conditions of well-being, which continue to occur in that country, and is signed by the following entities and institutions:
