WE COME AS FRIENDS és a modern odyssey, a dizzying, science fiction-like journey in the heart of Africa. DIRECTOR

Hubert Sauper was born in Kitzbühel, Tyrolian Alps. Havent spent his childhood a Àustria, he then lived a Great Britain, Italy, the USA, Tanzània, Congo i South Sudan. His »homebase« since the mid 90s is France. He estudiat film directing partly a Vienna i París (Universitat de Performing Arts, Universitat de París VIII) i graduat amb excel·lència BA (Mag. art.).

Hubert organitza conferències i master classes en films i universitats de tot el món. Les seves sòcio-politicals i poètiques films han guanyat per 50 majors international prizes, durant les awards a la Venice Film Festival, Berlinale, Sundance, NY, el Francès, l'Austria i l'European Academy Award, i l'Oscar nomination per a best documentary.
