Call for entries open for the Official Selection of the ninth edition of HUMANS FEST – International Film and Human Rights Festival of Valencia, which will take place from 9th till 18th of February 2018.
CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR FEATURE DOCUMENTARIES.
The nature of the Call is competitive, with a prize of 3,000 Euros for the Best Documentary. Eligibility of the works is stated as follows:
- Minimum duration 55 minutes.
- Be an original work and to treat the themes of Human Rights.
- Accepted exhibition formats: DCP (not KDM), Blu Ray, 35mm.
- Works carried out after 1st of January 2016.
- Genre: Cinematographic documentaries.
This section has a fee of €10.
The Festival organization will provide a waiver to those filmmakers or producers who find it difficult to pay the fee. Please contact us at info@humansfest.com

CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR SHORT FILMS ON ASYLUM AND REFUGEES.
The nature of the Call is competitive, with a prize of 500 Euros for the Best Short Film. Eligibility of the works is stated as follows:
- Maximum duration of 30 minutes.
- Be an original work and to treat the themes of the right to seek asylum and/or refugees.
- Works carried out after 1st of January 2016.
- Genre: fiction, documentary and animation.

Submission deadline 15th October 2017
