A day to celebrate diversity and build community

The next Saturday, May 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we invite you to participate in a very special morning at the Nazareth Church Square. Within the framework of the project “Living and Intercultural Neighborhoods. A Thousand Stories to Tell”, we will celebrate a Interculturality Workshop full of activities designed for all ages.

This initiative was created with the aim of strengthening coexistence and community participation in increasingly diverse neighborhoods, where the challenges surrounding integration and social cohesion are the order of the day.

During the day, we will enjoy a storytelling about values of coexistence, by the hand of Baobab y Afrolatidos, accompanied by family cultural workshops that will bring us closer to different traditions and ways of life.

In addition, the programming will continue with two different activities:

  • A playful and educational proposal of a storyteller on values of coexistence for the children's audience.

  • A cultural workshop space intended for a more adult audience.

An activity aimed at promote respect, tolerance, recognition of other cultures and the defense of human rights, from childhood to adulthood.

This activity is part of the Community Festival organized by The Ark, a celebration open to the entire neighborhood, with various opportunities to share, learn, and socialize. And yes, there will also be paellas!
