The winning short film of the “One minute, one right” section went to the short film, “Pussy Riot" of Itziar Telletxea (student at the Escuela de Arte Superior y Diseño de Valencia school), who could not be present at the closing gala but sent a message of gratitude and a request so that, together, we could contribute to the dissemination of this work on censorship .

The Special Mention from the Jury It has been for the Moroccan documentary “475: when marriage becomes a punishment" of Nadir Bouhmouch. The Jury wanted to grant a special mention for their effort and work to the work carried out by the inmates of the Picassent Penitentiary Center called “No to racism and prejudice of ideas”.

The FIC-Valencia wanted to include in this closing the Valencian short film, “A better place” by Moisés Romera and Marisa Crespo which, due to its duration, was not included in the rules of this edition, but which the Festival management considered that due to its interest it was worth being disseminated. The two directors and the leading actors received a gift for their meritorious work and results.

The gala concluded with the screening of the award-winning documentary “The act of Killing” by Joshua Oppenheimer and Christine Cynn.
