Pau i Justicia Award: Hwidar Abdelatif
This year the Festival has decided to present the Prize PAU I JUSTÍCIA to the director and actor Hwidar Abdelatif, for his career in the defense of Social and Human Rights through cinema as an element of transformation of our society.
Commitment to Culture Award: Carmen Alborch
This recognition was not the only one awarded during the Inauguration Gala. This year the festival has decided to remember one of the most active women in the Valencian and national cultural scene, and a tireless defender of women's rights and their work. Through an interview done by the director Giovanna Ribes, has been delivered Commitment to Culture Award to the recently deceased, Carmen Alborch.
Acollida Award: Emilio Marti
In celebration of these 10 years of the festival's history, another tribute was paid during the closing gala, to a director who has collaborated with the festival since its beginnings, and whose commitment to the cause of human rights and, above all, refugees is the basis of their daily work. The festival has awarded the Acollida Award to the animation director Emilio Marti.

This year the Festival has decided to give the director, actress and producer Silvia Munt the award PAU I JUSTÍCIA, for his career in the defense of Social and Human Rights through cinema as an element of transformation of our society. Silvia collected the award during the opening of the festival, on Friday, February 9.
