Humans Fest - Ruido Photo 01

The International Film and Human Rights Festival of Valencia, Humans Fest, organized by Fundación por la Justicia, opened the exhibition this morning Marcats per l'odi, a photojournalism work that documents the consequences of far-right speeches in different parts of the world.

The authorship of this project corresponds to the collective Noise Photo, an organization dedicated to documentary imaging on issues of human rights and social conflicts, together with the 5W Magazine. The exhibition presents large images featuring people who have been victims of hate and are accompanied by texts that narrate their experiences.

The opening ceremony was attended by Majo Siscar, director of the festival; Toni Gaspar, president of the Provincial Council of Valencia; Mentxu Balaguer, deputy for International Cooperation of the Provincial Council of Valencia; Lucía Beamud, Councilor for Equality and Inclusive Policies of the Valencia City Council; and Alejandro Mañes; patron of Foundation for Justice.

The exhibition Marcats per l'odi, that will remain in the Plaza de Manises until June 20, It is part of the official programming of Humans Fest in its 13th edition, which is held from June 9 to 18, offering different screenings of fiction and documentary films, as well as colloquiums, around this year's thematic axis: migrations and refuge.
