After six editions, the Humans Fest renews its image with a new logo designed by Carmen Huguet of Baluard Estudio, which contains a black paper bow tie with fuchsia letters inspired by the Pau i Justicia award created by the Valencian artist Marina Puche.
A new format that aims to enhance closeness to citizens, represent freedom and give a modern touch to the festival that will be held next December from the 10th to the 18th. In addition, the colors of the logo will change depending on the theme in question. in the different activities.
As for the official poster, Isidro Ferrer, an illustrator and graphic designer trained in dramatic art, has been in charge and creator of it. A label that continues with its line of work, which is to act with reality. Explained in his words: “Now that the issue of borders and the construction of containment dams against immigration is so hot, I wanted to reflect this situation with an image that proposes a critical reading of it and that at the same time functions as a paradox.” .
Ferrer, who plays with surrealism and the shocking combination of motifs in his works so that they acquire a new dimension, has received awards in several countries for his exquisite career such as the Experimenta Design Award from Experimenta Ediciones de Diseño 2002, the Gràffica Award 2011 or the Silver award from the Golden Label Awards in Austria for the best marketing concept in Agua de Lunares 2013.
