Today, Friday, October 24, at 8:00 p.m., the inauguration of the VI edition of the Valencia International Film and Human Rights Festival will take place at the CulturArts IVAC Film Library. During it, the Pau i Justícia Award will be presented to the Catalan director, Carles Bosch, by José María Tomás Tío, president of the Fundación Por la Justicia.
Next, Carles Bosch will present his second documentary “Septiembres”, about human and loving relationships inside a prison. The director will be accompanied by one of the protagonists, “Fortu”, the partner of José Gardoqui, drummer of the famous 80s group Burning, who met during their stay in Soto del Real.

The gala, presented by the Valencian director and actor, Abdelatif Hwidar, member of the jury of the VI edition of the FIC-Valencia, will conclude with a party at the Rialto club with a concert by the Combo Dixie Sedajazz. That same night, at 10:30 p.m., you can attend the first documentary in competition in the Official Section at the same Film Library. This is the work of Nadir Bouhmouch, “475” (Morocco, 2013). A heartbreaking documentary that tells the aberrant fate of Moroccan women who are forced to marry their rapists. Both the opening and the after party are completely free.
