The FIC is one of the few festivals in the world that has an official sub-venue in a penitentiary center, in this case it is the Picassent Penitentiary Center where the documentaries participating in the Official Section will be screened. In this edition, the documentary “Septiembres” will be screened, about romantic relationships inside prisons, with the presence of its Director Carles Bosch.
In addition, the inmates will participate in this edition with the presentation of their own production that has been recorded by themselves inside the prison facility. This project seeks to bring the potential of culture to these centers, in this case through cinema, at the same time as giving them the opportunity to develop their creativity and listen to their points of view.
