Next Thursday, July 3 at 8:00 p.m., the short film directed by Óscar Bernàcer will be screened in the Luis García Berlanga Room, with Uxua Castelló as artistic director, who is also part of the executive team of our festival.
Uxua Castelló has a degree in Fine Arts and has also studied Anthropology and Philosophy. She began her professional career in the theater, working as a painter. He later became part of the Art team of series such as 'Este es mi barrio' or 'Hands to work' and film projects such as 'Tranvía a la Malvarrosa'.
He has made numerous artistic works in relation to audiovisuals such as 'Rencor', 'Nothing easy' and 'Severo Ochoa', 'Arroz y tartana', 'People', 'The cherries of the cemetery', 'The path of the English', 'The great Vázquez', 'Cinco m2', 'The sleeping voice', 'We all have a plan', 'Svensson's syndrome', 'Letters from Sorolla', 'L´Alquería blanca', 'Martíni il valenciano', 'Flor de Mayo', 'The Night Runner' and 'The Waves'.
The characterization of Carlos Areces as Franco, the filming in El Pardo, the setting, have made this Valencian production a possible candidate for Goya nominations. 'Bikini' is a comedy produced by Nakamura Films, which tells how in the fifties the mayor of Benidorm takes a trip on his Vespa to El Pardo. The short deals with an episode of our recent history in a comedic way.
