The INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ON FILM AND HUMAN RIGHTS is a project of the Foundation for Justice co-organized with other entities in the city of Valencia such as CEAR, Amnesty International of the Country of Valencia, ÀMBIT Association, CVONGD, Valencia by Bike, Agró Ecologist Action, Movement against intolerance, Lambda, SJM, Entrecultures, which offers a unique audiovisual space to raise awareness about human rights in the city of Valencia and in other spaces internationally. It is a key cultural program to see the latest international developments in documentary film, around human rights and Millennium Development Goals.
Objectives
- Promote critical reflection on the causes of global inequality to provoke changes in behavioral patterns that have repercussions on the societies of the countries of the South.
- The promotion, dissemination and training on Human Rights and their violation.
- Promotion of volunteering and the participation of society as agents of education for development.
- Development of innovative initiatives and proposals in the field of education for development and social awareness, promoting equality and empowerment of the most disadvantaged sectors. Click here to see the 2017 Humans Fest Report.
