The festival's honorary award recognises the work of those who are committed to human rights and justice through audiovisuals. This year it goes to:
Isabel Coixet
The most prolific and international filmmaker in Spain. With a career spanning 35 years, she has stood out for her particular sensitivity and her gender perspective that deconstructs the traditional female representation in film, as well as for her commitment to promoting the work of women in the audiovisual sector through associations and film production.
