We open the call for the Official Section of the ninth edition of HUMANS FEST – Valencia International Film and Human Rights Festival, which will take place from February 9 to 18, 2018.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILMS.

The contest is competitive and awards a prize of 3,000 euros to the best feature film, according to the following rules of the call:

• Minimum duration of 55 min.
• Be original and deal with the issue of Human Rights.
• DCP projection format (without KDM), Blu Ray, 35mm.
• Work carried out from January 1, 2016.
• Documentary film genre

This section has a registration fee of €10

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION ON THE RIGHT OF ASYLUM AND REFUGEES.

The contest is competitive and awards a prize of 500 euros to the best short film, according to the following rules of the call:

• Maximum duration 30 min.Be original and address the issue of the rights of refugees and/or asylum rights.
• Work carried out from January 1, 2016.
• Fiction, documentary and animation genre.

The final deadline to submit works is October 15, 2017.

The Festival Organization makes scholarships (waivers) available for filmmakers or producers who see the fee as an obstacle to registration. Write to info@humansfest.com for more information.
