United for the protection of nature: Foundation for Justice Collaborates with FUNDEM

  • Foundation for Justice joins the protection of nature as a sponsor of FUNDEM.
  • The collaboration is part of the environmental impact compensation of the Fundación por la Justicia film festival: Humans Fest.

At the Foundation for Justice we are convinced that the fight for Human Rights must go hand in hand with the commitment to the environment. For this reason, this year we have decided to take a step further in our mission to promote social justice and global well-being, by joining FUNDEM as sponsors, an organization committed to the protection of nature and the conservation of natural spaces.

In our journey of more than 30 years as a committed foundation, we have learned that the challenges facing our society are interconnected. The impact of climate change and the loss of biodiversity are problems that disproportionately affect those most vulnerable. That is why this year we have decided offset the environmental impact of Humans Fest, our annual film and human rights festival, with a concrete action in favor of the planet.

We have made a donation of more than €4,000 to FUNDEM, destined for its High Value Land Acquisition and Conservation Program ecologicalWith this contribution, we want to contribute to the renaturalization and care of natural spaces, adding our efforts to those who work tirelessly to protect our environment.

 

What is FUNDEM?

The Enrique Montoliu Foundation (FUNDEM) is a non-profit organization founded in 1996, dedicated to the conservation of Mediterranean nature. Its work focuses on three areas: promoting the use of native species in gardening, acquiring and safeguarding land of high ecological value for protection, and preserving historic gardens and their cultural heritage. With these actions, FUNDEM seeks to protect biodiversity, promote sustainability and raise awareness in society about the importance of caring for our natural environment.

 

We know that the path to a more just world includes taking care of the earth we share. That is why we are proud to collaborate with FUNDEM in this common cause and we hope that this alliance will inspire more organizations and people to join this fight for the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants.
