As part of the programming of the VI Valencia International Film and Human Rights Festival (FIC), the Film Library is screening the animated film "Crulic, Camino del más allá."
«Crulic» tells the true story of Claudiu Crulic, a Romanian citizen who was arrested in Poland for a crime he claimed not to have committed. Crulic, aged 33, dies in a Polish prison after a hunger strike. This is his way of protesting after being accused and convicted of a robbery he did not commit.
Film directed and produced by Romanian screenwriter Anca Damian. Animation and documentary come together in this film, winner of the Annecy Festival.
