THE HISTORY

Valencia, 2006. A subway derails, killing 43 people. While relatives watch over the victims, all attention is diverted to the arrival of the Pope, five days later. The case is closed in the Cortes and in the court, without anyone responsible. Faced with media silence and government purchase attempts, a group of victims begins what seems like a lost cause: finding the truth and demanding justice for the deceased. The strategy of silence is the chronicle of their 10 years of struggle, exposing institutional corruption, social oblivion and media servitude.

He began his professional career in 2000, during his stay in Latin America he carried out his first work on cooperation projects in Peru and El Salvador, within the framework of working with various NGOs. Since then, he has developed his work as a journalist, camera operator and editor on various television channels, until in 2008 he founded the Barret production company. He has been in charge of the production and photography of various documentary works, such as October 14, 1957.
