Through the \u201cGet on the Rickshaw\u201d microcredit project, carried out in 2007 in Bangladesh, contributed to reducing poverty in the most affected urban and rural areas, offering loans for the purchase of rickshaws<\/strong> for people at risk of socio-labor exclusion.<\/p>\n

The rickshaw is one of the most used means of transportation by the population living in Dhaka<\/strong> and in other cities of Bangladesh. It is a type of car that acts as a taxi and is normally driven by a young person who pedals and transports two or three people during each trip.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this initiative, of a single edition, 242 families achieved job placement through rickshaw financing in collaboration with the local partner<\/strong>, the cooperative Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
