Valencia, December 11, 2025.- With a conference titled 30 years of the Foundation for Justice and the paper of Human Rights in the current world, given by magistrat Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Tom\u00e1s T\u00edo, who presides over it, the Valencian Council of Culture has decided to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this organization. It is an entity with a spirit of profit, independent and non-denominational, which works for the promotion and defense of human rights at all costs, with the purpose of denouncing injustice and defending the rights that make more just societies possible.<\/p>\n
The act has begun with a few hours of welcome from Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Lozano, president of the CVC. I Ana Noguera, also a member of the Consell, has continued to be in charge of presenting the conference and the entity that she presides over, the value of which, she said, she believed in at a time when human rights are experiencing difficulties in many areas of the world. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Tom\u00e1s has started the conference precisely here, due to the situation of the human rights recognized in the Universal Declaration of 1948 in a global context of massive inequalities and migrations. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Tom\u00e1s finished the conference reminding us of the importance of being attentive to the rights of others, to take care of these rights. Always with a friendly disposition; because, as it is said, pain and tension are protectors of life in a way that becomes more tense and angry every time.<\/p>\n
