Foundation for Justice has met with Inmaculada Orqu\u00edn to address the precarious situation and human rights of Afghan women, highlighting the urgent situation of 40 women belonging to the Ariana Association in Pakistan. These women await interviews at embassies to obtain visas and international protection.<\/p>\n

The members of the board, Regina Laguna, Martina Menguzzato and Jose Mar\u00eda Tom\u00e1s, have initiated contacts to address this situation. The president, Jose Mar\u00eda Tom\u00e1s, points out that it must have a legal form and the more powerful the better, and then it is necessary to integrate into an organization with which one shares objectives or also lead a union of organizations.<\/p>\n

For her part, Inmaculada Orqu\u00edn highlights the need for direct contact with the Spanish embassy to find practical solutions, since she highlights that Afghanistan is the great forgotten one.<\/p>\n

These women, before the entry of the Taliban into Kabul in August 2021, occupied crucial roles as judges, prosecutors, journalists and teachers. The rapid loss of their lives forced them to flee in search of international protection, leaving many hiding in Afghanistan, alone and with their children, facing constant danger.<\/p>\n

In the professional field, Inmaculada Orqu\u00edn has the support of the association 29 Looks<\/em><\/a>, formed by committed Spanish photographers, who seek to raise awareness about the restrictions faced by Afghan women. They have presented a photography exhibition in Segovia, with plans to take it to Valencia to raise funds.<\/p>\n
