PATIENT is the word that defines us when we must follow medical instructions or we have to remain calm while waiting. In Colombia, a country whose harsh health system forces its users to face absurd bureaucratic obstacles to access its services, PATIENT is not only the one who suffers from the disease and hopes to overcome it, but also the one who is in charge of taking care of him and fighting daily against the system to ensure your loved one receives everything they need.<\/p>\n

PATIENT is Nubia, a mother who is the head of the household who, despite living with the anguish of losing her daughter to an aggressive cancer, manages to go through with admirable firmness and conviction the labyrinthine processes of the health system on which her daughter's life depends. .<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"fotojorge\"<\/a>Jorge Caballero has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and Audiovisual Communication. Producer and director of the company GusanoFilms with which he has developed documentaries such as Trifle, Birth<\/em> y Patient<\/em> achieving recognition at prestigious festivals. He has been winner of the National Documentary Award of Colombia on two occasions. He combines these activities with his work on the master's degree as an interactive documentary teacher and tutor, as well as post-production coordinator. He is a guest professor at several Ibero-American universities and festivals such as DOCSDF, DocMontevideo, Ambulante, Cartagena Film Festival or the National Film Council of Ecuador.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
