THE HISTORY<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Once a year, two plastic surgeons from Belgium and the Netherlands fly to Havana to operate on five transgender people as part of a new state program led by Mariela Castro. Over the course of a year, the filmmakers followed the three protagonists of the documentary, Odette, Juani and Mal\u00fa, showing how they face the reality of being transgender in Cuba. Meanwhile, they wait for the surgeons who will give them what they want most in life.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Your movie NACH WRIEZEN (Beyond Wriezen)<\/em> was shown at the IDFA and numerous other festivals and won, among others, the prestigious GRIMME AWARD<\/em> in Germany. HOLLAND OF THE SUN<\/em> competed at DOKLeipzig, DOK.Fest Munich and in Krakow. TRANSIT HAVANA<\/em> It is his film debut.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
