After an extensive career as an actress, in which he has participated in more than fifty films, with awards such as the Goya for her role in &#039;Butterfly Wings&#039; Juanma Bajo Ulloa in 2001 gives a twist to his career focusing mainly to the direction of feature films, documentaries and drama. In 2000 he wins the Goya for Best Short Documentary &#039;Lalia&#039;, in 2003 he directed the feature documentary &#039;Gala&#039; and in 2008 made his debut in fiction with &#039;Excuses&#039;.
